Artificial Hip
Designing medical devices requires a lot of research, testing and understanding of the market - this project was designed to develop these skills.
As part of the MSc Program at Aston an artificial hip was designed and then modelled using Solidworks, research was carried out to select the optimum material. Finally using Solidworks, finite element analysis was carried out in order to evaluate the design.
